More Power Tuning Ltd. uses the MPT brand and provides vehicle-specific ECU-tuning services from Edmonton, Alberta. This notice explains how we handle information when you browse our website, use the vehicle lookup, or contact us through the website enquiry form.
Information you choose to send
The enquiry form asks for your name, an email address or phone number so we can reply, your message, and any vehicle details you choose to include. We use this information to answer your enquiry, assess the proposed service, and discuss next steps. Sending an enquiry does not confirm compatibility, reserve an appointment, or create a booking. The messenger is not live chat.
Please provide only what is needed. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identification documents, a licence plate, or a full vehicle identification number (VIN) in this initial form. If further diagnostic information is needed, we will explain what to provide and how to send it.
The response-consent checkbox allows MPT to use your details for this enquiry. It does not subscribe you to a marketing list. You can call 780-977-6820 instead of using the form.
Website visits and vehicle searches
Operating and protecting the website involves technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and request results. Vehicle search terms and selected vehicle pages may appear in ordinary website request logs. The lookup does not require a VIN or licence plate; please do not enter those identifiers in its search field.
The enquiry service uses temporary security identifiers, submission counters, and receipt references to limit spam and duplicate messages. These operational records are separate from the content of your enquiry. MPT does not currently use public-site analytics or advertising tracking. We will update this notice before adding processing that requires additional notice or consent.
Who handles the information
Enquiries are sent to business-approved inboxes for the MPT personnel who handle them. We use Hostinger to host and protect the website and its backups. The website uses SureMail and the Google Gmail API to deliver outgoing enquiry messages; the recipients’ mailbox providers receive and store delivered copies. Service providers may also process limited technical and delivery information to secure, support, and troubleshoot their services.
The custom enquiry module does not create a separate archive of message bodies. Copies may nevertheless be present in business inboxes, mail-delivery logs or retry queues, and website or provider backups. Access is limited to people who need the information for their work. We may also use or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, or protect the website, MPT, or other people.
Processing outside Canada
Our Hostinger website hosting and backups are located in the United States. Google and other service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Information handled outside Canada may be subject to the laws of those places and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement, or national-security authorities as permitted by law.

Retention and protection
SureMail is configured to schedule website email-delivery logs for removal after 30 days. Business inbox copies are kept for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, maintain relevant service or business records, and meet legal obligations. Technical records and backups follow their operational rotation and may remain for a limited period after an active copy is removed. When personal information is no longer reasonably required for a legal or business purpose, we securely delete it or make it non-identifying.
We use safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including HTTPS, restricted administrative access, private server-side recipient settings, validation, rate limits, and short-lived enquiry security records. No internet or email service is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the initial enquiry form.
Your choices and privacy questions
You may ask for access to your personal information, request a correction, withdraw consent for further enquiry contact, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. These requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Withdrawal may limit our ability to continue an enquiry; we will explain any relevant consequences.

You can use the website enquiry form to send a written privacy request. Start your message with “Privacy request”; you do not need to provide vehicle details. If you cannot use the form, call us for assistance and an alternative way to send a written request. We may reasonably verify your identity before releasing or changing records; do not send identity documents unless an appropriate process has been agreed.
You can also raise a concern with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta. Where federal privacy law applies, information is available from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes and external links
Links to other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. We will revise this notice when our website practices change. Where a change requires notice or consent, we will address that before using information in the new way.
